Overview
Loopedout is a fast pattern-finding puzzle filled with colorful creatures called Guulps. Connect neighboring Guulps of the same color and close the path into a loop. A successful loop clears its group, creates room for new pieces, and adds to your score. Challenge Run presents a sequence of level targets, while Score Attack lets you chase your best total.
How to play
Press a Guulp and drag through adjacent matching Guulps. Continue the path until it returns to its starting point, then release to complete the loop. Paths must follow neighboring cells and cannot jump across the grid. Look for shapes that bend around a cluster instead of settling for the first short connection.
Special Guulps
Rainbow Guulps can join a loop of any color. Fatboys are heavy blockers: clear Guulps beneath them to make them fall off the grid. Fiery Guulps spread danger over time and should be looped quickly. Malfunctioning and burnt tiles disrupt otherwise clean routes.
Modes and goals
Challenge Run asks you to reach each level target with the available loops. Later levels introduce tougher targets and more disruptive pieces. Score Attack is an open high-score run: plan efficient clears and keep building points for as long as possible.
Strategy and tips
Scan the whole board before starting a path. A small clear can make pieces fall into a stronger follow-up. Keep Rainbow Guulps available for difficult colors, remove fires before they spread, and clear cells under Fatboys whenever possible. In Challenge Run, use Tip when the next loop is hard to spot.
Controls
Use a mouse, touchscreen, or trackpad. Press and drag across matching adjacent Guulps, return to the first one, and release. Settings and Help contains music, sound, reset-progress, and special-piece explanations. Progress and high scores are stored locally in your browser.
